Astra Jigsaw Europe Tour is another collection of jigsaw puzzles from Lena Games, this time with some excellent photographs of Europe. In this selection you will see castles, cottages, historic places, and city views of the most interesting places from the old continent. The free trial version comes with five pictures only but has no limitations in terms of functionality.
To get started, you just need to pick a photograph from the gallery and set the level of difficulty. With a scrolling bar you select the number of pieces your jigsaw will have (the number ranges from 35 to 1536) and then you choose the piece shape you prefer. Options like 'no frame', 'random', or 'rotation' will add an extra touch of difficulty to your jigsaw.
Like all the other titles in the collection, this puzzle has a neat interface with all the tools you may need near at hand. From the toolbar at the top you can use tools like the magnifying glass to handle tiny pieces or extra windows and pockets to store pieces in when the board becomes too crowded. Likewise, you can change the background color of the board for one that suits your current game and switch to the full-screen mode with a click.
For $14 you get access to the full version of the program, which comes with more than 100 photographs and the chance to download new ones from Lena Games.
